Experience
Tutored middle schoolers in Spanish, worked as a tutor for the writing center and spanish department. Worked at a teen center offering tutoring for all subjects. Because of my double major I have a wide base of knowledge I have accumulated. I received a 30 on my ACTs and a 1340 on my SATs ( I never took the new ones.) I have ample experience working with children. I have made the dean's list at HSU the two semesters I have been here after transferring. I am fluent in Spanish and will be finishing my minor in Chinese this coming Spring. I think that tutoring is a rewarding experience for me as well as my tutee. I feel so luck to have had the educational opportunities that I have and I want to share them and use them to help people in anyway I can. I took 6 AP classes my senior year of high school and I wish I had someone that could have helped me organize and understand some of the work, so I hope to offer that to someone else.

Hobbies
I love doing anything outdoors! I row on the crew team at HSU and all 4 years of high school. I especially love water sports, I just bought my first kayak! I love to learn languages, that is my absolute passion. I also really enjoy volunteer work from small community projects to international volunteering. I love to travel and combine that with volunteering, I recently returned from 3 months in India this summer working with children. I read A LOT, and I cook A LOT because I love them both and they are great on the rainy Humboldt days.=)
