I've been a tutor for over a decade and I love helping students of all ages find the best way to learn for them. I completed my BA and MA at the University of Louisville in Art History and Humanities with a minor in History. I am currently working on an MS in Historic Preservation at UVM. I have managed college tutoring centers for 6 years, and I have been certified as a Master Tutor (Level III) through the College Reading and Learning Association and as a Master Tutor Trainer through the Association for the Tutoring Profession.
Experience
I am currently a writing tutor at the University of Vermont and I assist graduate students, both native and second-language English speakers, with a variety of types of writing. I have been tutoring the GRE since 2011, primarily for the Verbal and Analytical Writing sections, but I have also worked with the Quantitative section since 2016. I tutored Spanish for 5 years as an undergraduate and graduate student, and I also have tutored the Reading and Writing sections of the SAT. I did well on the ACT and have taken tests to qualify to tutor the English and Reading sections.
